PROVIDING THE CURE FOR TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND UNLEASH THE HUMAN POTENTIAL

Helping Leaders Turn Around Toxic Work Environments One Workplace At A Time

Leadership Development

“75% of workers who voluntarily left their jobs did so because of their bosses and not the position itself” – Gallup

Research by the respected Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) found that the 3 main reasons for leadership failure are:

  1. difficulty in handling change
  2. inability to work well in a team, and
  3. poor interpersonal relations.

You and/or your leadership team can avoid this. Let me show you how.

Emotional Intelligence

“Of all the people we’ve studied at work, we’ve found that 90% of top performers are also high in emotional intelligence.“ Dr. Travis Bradberry (Emotional Intelligence 2.0)

There are no shortages of people who are very intelligent yet are at the bottom of the poor productivity and performance list.

Why is that so?

The need to be more Emotionally Intelligent or Emotelligent in their personal and professional life.

Studies show that leaders who are more Emotionally Intelligent or Emotelligent, are more likely to succeed where others failed.

Let me tell you how.

Keynote Speaking

Most people who hire me to speak, do so because they are looking for someone who understands what it takes to help their leaders and team members work simultaneously towards a win/win outcome.

A win/win outcome is one that boosts productivity and performance for the organization/company while at the same time reward people in ways that motivate them.

Leadership Coaching

Most leaders do well with coaching.

“80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. 86% of companies report that they recouped their investment on coaching and more.” (source: ICF 2009).

Here are a few of the many benefits for leadership coaching:

  • Establish and take action towards achieving goals
  • Helps to motivate and empower individuals to excel
  • Contribute more effectively to the team and the organization
  • Take greater responsibility and accountability for actions and commitments
  • Work more easily and productively with others
  • Communicate more effectively

Leadership Training

Leadership training is primarily from the leadership model found in my latest book: The Emotelligent Leader – Succeed Where Others Failed.

It is a model that is built around 7 Essential Traits that all leaders must possess to be successful in the 21st Century.

Leading teams effectively and motivating people to WANT to bring the best version of themselves to the workplace, requires a shift away from the leader-in-front mentality.

The skills needed are highly based on Emotional Intelligence. it takes more than intelligence to make this happen. The data supports this claim.

Training around this paradigm is for leaders and teams. The team members training is done with leaders but the leaders training is offered separately.

These training sessions are talored to fit the needs of the organization. They are crafted in blocks of 3-hours each. Whenever the need arises for more than 2-blocks, it will be considered a day-and-a-half training.

The Kingsley Grant Show

This is the podcast where all things Leadership and Emotional Intelligence are discussed.

It is primarily geared towards emerging and experienced leaders who want to know how to succeed where others failed.

This show is currently heard in over 40 countries since its launching in mid-March 2019. There are over 100 episodes so far covering a wide range of topic on leadership and emtional intelligence.

Most of the shows are solo with a few interviews of experts on the topic of leadership and EI.

The topics are primarily related to my latest book: The Emotelligent Leader – Succeed Where Others Failed. You’ll discover best practices from a model that is changing the landscape of leadership.

EMOTELLIGENCE IS THE NEW INTELLIGENCE

What Is Emotelligence?

Emotelligence is the composite of two words: Emotion + Intelligence.

It is like the words Infomercial, which is made up of Information + Commercial or Sitcom = Situation + Comedy or Emoticon = Emotion + Icon.

It is defined as The Art of Succeeding Where Others Failed. It is an art form because it is a learnable skill.

It is the missing factor in the lives of people we consider intelligent yet do unintelligent things.

Why Is Emotelligence The New Intelligence?

Studies have shown that our intelligence (IQ) is fixed from an early age. It is not something that can be increased in IQ numbers.

It is very important.

Most of our learning takes place because of our intelligence.

However, it is not enough.

It is what gets us IN the DOOR for many of our life’s experiences, but it is not what keeps us IN.

Emotelligence does. It’s the differentiator.

Who Is An Emotelligent Leader?

An Emotelligent Leader is one who:

1. Accurately identifies, understands, and manages his or her emotions and the emotions of others around them.

2. Is more skilled at Decision Making, Relationship Management, and Job Performance.

3. Is one who creates a win/win outcome for the organization he or she represents as well as for the people they are leading.

About Me

I’m on a mission to REDEFINE LEADERSHIP from being a title or a position to being a way of life.

Leadership should not be WHAT you do but WHO you are.

The WHO you are is what people connect to or disconnect from.

Don’t believe me?

  • Why would 79% of people say that they left their job because their leaders failed to value and acknowledge them?

  • Why would there be so many versions of “People don’t quit their jobs, they quit bad leaders?”

  • Why would Gallup research find that almost 70% of people are disengaged in the workplace?

If John Maxwell is right which I believe he is, “everything rises and falls on leadership!”

REDEFINING LEADERSHIP by giving leaders a new script that makes people their #1 priority, is the place to start.

THIS NEW SCRIPT IS DESIGNED TO:

  • Turn Leaders Into Celebrities and Employees into Rockstars

  • Boost people engagement across all levels of the workplace.

  • Boost productivity and revenue

  • Increase employee happiness and satisfaction

Having done the research, written and published my newest book: The Emotelligent Leader – Succeed Where Others Failed, I’m convinced it is possible.

In addition to that, I’ve recorded and published over 100 podcast episodes which can be accessed at www.kingsleygrant.com/podcast.

Testimonials

“There are so many people who create elaborate presentations with the hopes of selling some unrealistic or unattainable concept.  This is not the case with Kingsley Grant!  His presentation that he tailored for our company on how to become Rock Star employees, was clear, and practical, and was well received by everyone on the team, despite his or her role or years of service.”

Moya Johnson

Sales Manager, Hard Rock Hotels – All Inclusive Collection

Kingsley Grant was engaged to do a weekend leadership summit on The Importance of Emotional Intelligence for Effective Leadership. Our team was inspired, challenged, and compelled to look deeply within to better get in touch with their emotions and thrust outward to be better aware of their surrounding in an attempt to become full 360-degree leaders. The sessions were practical, insightful, humorous and very effectively presented.  As a leadership and EQ coach myself, I believe Kingsley is one of the best at this and I would gladly recommend him to your organization to resource your leaders
